Hi Helena! It has been such a long time since I've seen or talked to you. Nice to catch up with you this way.
So do we get to see a picture of the hair cut? Or did I just miss it? I am thinking about cutting my hair REALLY short. We are going on a trip next month where we will be backpacking for a week, and there are no showers. I'd rather not have to deal with "bed head," so I may just get rid of the hair!!! What do you think?
I like the picture of the fat cat. It kinda reminds me of our cat Frida, who also has weight issues. Her highest weight was 15 pounds. Right now she weighs 11. Her weight goes UP and DOWN all the time. We can't leave food out for her, or she will EAT and EAT and EAT and EAT EAT and EAT and EAT and EAT EAT and EAT and EAT and EAT until there is nothing left to eat! She just can't say "when." So we have to ration her food.
We now have two other cats (and that is our absolute, definite limit): Annie and Julia. Annie is a tortoise shell calico and is the classical "scaredy cat." I can see now where that name came from! She is such a scaredy cat, she is always on the alert in case she hears a sound--then she runs and hides. If anyone comes to our house, she hides. Some people don't believe that she exists because they've never seen her.
Julia is our smallest cat, but she's the dare devil. She will run and jump up about 5 feet onto the railing at the top of the stairs. Then she will walk the rail like a tight rope to the other end, where the stairs are further away, and play with her tail through the bars. Keep in mind that if she loses her balance, she can fall about 8 feet down. She did fall once, and landed--guess where--on her feet! We adopted Julia after she showed up on our doorstep in the middle of the winter. You might say SHE is the one who adopted US.
Anyway, you can tell I like cats too. Talk to you later.
